Community and economic development is built on traditional land use planning principals emphasizing productive and resilient urban form.
In accordance with state statute and Rutland City Charter, the RRA assists the Planning Commission, Development Review Board and Planning and Zoning staff to update and implement the City’s regulatory and non-regulatory land use and development documents.
The Rutland City Master Plan is a non-regulatory document that guides land uses and the Rutland City Land Development Regulations. The current Master Plan was adopted in 2020 and expires in 2028.
