In accordance with state statute and Rutland City Charter, the RRA assists the Planning Commission, Development Review Board and Planning and Zoning staff to update and implement the City’s regulatory and non-regulatory land use and development documents.

Rutland City Land Development Regulations
The Land Development Regulations is a Unified Development Ordinance including zoning, architectural review, subdivision and flood hazard area regulations. The current version was re-adopted in 2020, however, the Planning Commission is currently working on an update. Rutland City Master Plan
The Rutland City Master Plan is a non-regulatory document that guides land uses and the Rutland City Land Development Regulations. The current Master Plan was adopted in 2020 and expires in 2028.
