City of Rutland/RRA Business licensing/permitting efficiency project
On behalf of the City of Rutland the Rutland Redevelopment Authority (RRA) is seeking a qualified consultant and web designer (vendor) to provide services related to create and implement a web based business licensing and permitting process to supplement or replace the City’s current paper based process. This project is being funded through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Startup in a Day initiative.
The enhanced system will provide an end user a simple and efficient process by which to determine what potential business licenses and permits would be required by the City of Rutland and a user friendly web based platform (portal) from which to complete the required application/s, submit these along with any required attachments to the applicable department of City government, and make online payment for any applicable fees.
In addition the portal will also provide a comprehensive listing of State and regional licensing and permitting entities, with applicable links and contact information, which could be applicable to a new Rutland City business.
The revamped process and web portal is expected to provide the end user all of the necessary information to complete and submit their required Rutland City business license and permit application/s online in a simple and timely manner.
